Meet Dr. Peccora

Multi-Modal Approach

Dr. Christian Peccora is an advocate for a comprehensive, multi-modal approach to pain management. His philosophy integrates a diverse range of techniques, including physical therapy, acupuncture, pain psychology, massage therapy, medication management, spinal cord neuromodulation, and various interventional procedures. Driven by his dedication to patient-centered care, he firmly believes that each therapy should be tailored to meet the unique needs of every individual.

Dr. Peccora earned his MD with honors from Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, where he was distinguished as a member of the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society.

He further honed his medical expertise during an internal medicine internship at BCM before embarking on a residency in Anesthesiology, Perioperative, and Pain Medicine at Harvard Medical School and Brigham & Women’s Hospital. During his time in Boston, he completed a Pain Medicine fellowship, where he received accolades as the Distinguished Resident of his class and earned the coveted Fellow of the Year Award.

Dr. Peccora actively engaged in extensive research projects during his tenure, contributing to numerous publications covering topics such as the neurophysiology of chronic pain, peripheral nerve stimulation, intrathecal pumps, postoperative pain, and medical ethics.

As a dual board-certified physician, Dr. Peccora is a proud member of esteemed medical organizations, including the International Spine Intervention Society. Beyond his medical pursuits, he’s an enthusiastic traveler, fluent in Spanish, and enjoys tennis, running, and music. Committed to giving back to his community, he dedicates his time as a volunteer.

Growing up in southwest Houston, Dr. Peccora brings his expertise and compassion to Texas Pain Care.  Currently, he is welcoming new patients and looks forward to making a positive impact on their lives.
