Psychological Treatment and Addiction

Psychological Treatment and Addiction Texas

Patients suffering from chronic pain often experience depression, anxiety, and difficulty because pain affects their quality of life and the pain medications can have significant side effects. We are partnering with psychiatrists, psychologists, and counselors in our community to provide tailored psychological treatment and addiction care for the unique needs of patients with chronic pain in Texas.

Dr. Orlando Peccora

Our medical director, Dr. Orlando Peccora, is setting up a team that can help with psychological care and treatments for addiction for patients who are on chronic opioids and need help titrating off.

Dr. Orlando Peccora is a Board Certified Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist, licensed in the State of Texas, and has been practicing since 1977.  He was appointed the Medical Director of Rapha Psychiatric Hospitals programs during 1985-1993, the Medical Director of Rader Institute for Eating Disorders, and the Medical Director and co-founder of New Awakening Adolescent Day Programs.

Dr. Peccora’s special interests in psychiatry include ADHD, eating disorders, substance abuse, medication management and the use of internet psychiatry for helping college students. He is fluent in Spanish.
